Traditional..non-traditional… it’s completely up to you! Have fun with the planning of your wedding day. Now lets dig in. Here’s a timeline guide to help reduce the stress of planning. Leaving yourself enough time to get the things done that you want is a key to making this process fun and stress free.
This should be done at least a year out. Lately venues have been booking up a year in advance or more.

Having a system in place to keep track of what you've done and what you need to do will help make things flow. Also use this to keep track of all payments made.
Grab your squad and go shopping! Don' wait too long because alterations can take some time.
Work on rounding up your passports, visas, birth certificates or any documents needed for travel and/or marriage licenses.

This is just pure fun. Doesn't hurt to speak with a travel agent who can get special rates and guide you to the perfect honeymoon.

If you plan on leaving your venue for photos you may need permit. Definitely check with your photo locations so there are no surprises.
Not just your rides. Make sure guests that are staying at a hotel have a shuttle if needed.
This can be the wedding party but it's. okay to included others, too. This is more traditional in church ceremonies.
Doing some decorating yourself? Now would be a good time to make sure you have everything ready for the big day.
If you're feeling traditional go for it!
Check with your venue/caterer as this may be done earlier.

Remember this is your day. Enjoy it for everything it has to offer. Don't get caught up in schedules or lists (ironic right, seeing that on a list of schedules?!)
