Meghan’s parents had their wedding reception at The Hotel Dupont. Now Meghan and Marc are back and throwing their amazing wedding. When you walk into the Hotel Dupont it’s quite clear why Meghan and Marc wanted to have their wedding reception there. The fact that her parents were married there in the past I’m sure was just icing on the cake. A Hotel DuPont Wedding for us is an immediate sign that we’re going to have a fantastic time and capture some beautiful images. The decor inside the hotel and the reception ballroom are just amazing. As a photographer, you could go on forever just trying to incorporate it all.
The day started out at the hotel for their prep. Afterward, we traveled on over to St Anthony’s for the ceremony. St Anthony’s is a unique experience for us because it’s one of the rare times during a Catholic ceremony that we’re able to get behind the couple to capture images. You can see below where we’re able to capture the first kiss and the families reactions.
After the ceremony, we headed back to Hotel DuPont where we did the wedding party photos and Meghan and Marc’s photos. It was a little chilly that day. The rain started to come down just after the ceremony. As a result, we quickly did a few photographs out front and then headed back in for the rest.
