Carrie & Gerald’s Pomme Radnor Wedding
For all the years that I’ve spent photographing weddings, I’ve shot in some of the most extraordinary and sublime venues. And each place has its unique vibe – an aura that speaks of my couples’ personalities and their preferences. Besides providing me with stunning settings for my wedding photography, these venues help me tell the lovely stories of my brides and grooms in their own special way. When Carrie and Gerald decided to exchange their vows at the Pomme Radnor, I just knew that the incredible location would help me achieve all the shots I had in mind and even more than what I had already planned.
Pomme Radnor was a nature lover’s paradise that totally resonated with my couple’s wedding vision. And personally speaking, I was super happy with the choice of the venue too. For me, it was a dream come true as I got to create some gorgeous and ethereal images of Carrie and Gerald at this green, tranquil oasis. All the fun I had on my couple’s special day was the icing on the cake! Oh wait, but there was no cake at this wedding in the traditional sense of the term (but more on that later)!
Pomme Radnor Wedding Photography
Carrie and Gerald love animals, and the choice of their wedding venue is proof enough that they love being close to nature. Even their wedding card was designed around the same theme, and I loved it. It was a beautiful day, and the wedding was simply gorgeous – classy and full of fun at the same time. Every picture I took of my couple and their guests warmed my heart.
I loved how my couple did a first look at the bridge. The ornate lamps, the trees lining the bridge, and the lovely flowering hedges on either side set a romantic mood for my bride and groom to pose for some portraits. The bridal bouquet and my groom’s boutonniere added the perfect pop of color to the images. Carrie and Gerald had one of the most beautiful outdoor ceremonies. And the vibrant floral arrangements at the venue only made it more appealing. These amazing floral arrangements were brought to you by RAM Floral. The woodland setting – complete with majestic trees, enthralling wooded paths, the bridge overlooking a pond, and a meandering stream – made the Pomme Radnor an idyllic and serene spot for my couple to celebrate their big day.
Small Wedding Details
To add to the quaint, picturesque setting, my bride’s father had got vintage cars to the venue for the bride and groom to get a few photos with these beauties – just perfect for that old-world charm! This thoughtful and heartwarming gesture made me so happy – because I got to create some stellar couple photos with some dramatic props thrown in! And coming back to the wedding cake – my couple ditched the traditional cake and instead got a large Tiramisu as they love the Tiramisu from Olive Garden. These little personal touches really helped me build my couple’s wedding story just the way they wanted it!
The reception indoors was impressive too. The decor, the warm twinkling fairy lights, and the wooden lamps above totally won my heart! Photographing my couple and their guests in this wonderful setting helped me create some beautiful images. Later that night we sneaked out with Carrie and Gerald for some night photography.

Carrie and Gerald, you two are true gems, and I loved photographing your beautiful wedding at the breathtaking Pomme Radnor.
