Gabby & Kate’s Belle of Blue Bell Wedding
Situated inside the gorgeous Blue Bell Country Club built on the historic Normandy Farms, The Belle makes for a picture-perfect setting for a dreamy wedding. And that’s exactly what Gabby and Kate’s wedding looked like. If a sprawling garden, a stunning ballroom, tranquil waterfront views, and exquisite hospitality are what you’ve been dreaming about for your Pennsylvania wedding, The Belle of Blue Bell could be a perfect fit for you. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, Gabby and Kate had already had a small ceremony last year, but this time around my couple decided to celebrate and party with their family and friends. Besides all the fun and the excitement, the wedding also had its share of sweet and emotional moments – moments that made for some great images, and I am so glad I was there to document it all.Gabby & Kate’s Story
Gabby and Kate first met while attending Albright College in 2009. They were best friends and roommates for years until they started dating in 2016! Kate was the one who made plans for the couple to go to Sleepy Hollow, New York, for a weekend filled with fall activities. They rented a cute Airbnb house that had floor-length windows leading to a huge wraparound back deck. It was a beautiful September evening. The sun was setting, and the fall landscape of the trees made for a lovely background. Gabby was walking around the porch, checking out the big yard, and when she turned around, she saw Kate was down on one knee.
Gabby screamed “YES”! They hugged, took some pictures, and stared at the ring until Kate realized they had to leave so that they weren’t late for dinner! Kate had also made dinner reservations at a cute restaurant nearby where they celebrated over Prosecco and enjoyed their first dinner as fiancés! Their families joined them the next day for a weekend full of engagement celebrations and fall festivities.
The Belle of Blue Bell Wedding Photography
During their first look, Gabby and Kate didn’t want one of them to see the other first, so Gabby kept her eyes covered as she walked out. Then, the couple read letters to each other back to back. When the two turned around to look at each other, it was perfect, and their reactions were priceless! And this was also one of my favorite moments from the wedding. Another moment that stood out for me was during the ceremony. The sky was super moody in the beginning, but as the brides walked down the aisle, they were drenched in the sunshine against the most amazing sky. The two looked perfect at that moment.
Thanks to the beautiful outdoors and gorgeous interior at The Belle of Blue Bell, it was super easy to put create photos for the couple.. Even during sunset and night portraits it was so much fun using their property to create some beautiful images. The wedding party portraits were stellar too. In fact, the color-coordinated attire of the bridal party blended so beautifully with the field and the blue skies. And the flowers added a pop of color to the images.

Gabby and Kate, both of you are amazing, and your wedding was simply gorgeous! From the decor and the music to everything else about the wedding – it was all so tasteful and immaculately planned.
