Being a Philadelphia wedding photographer is truly a unique experience. You can go taking portraits on the “oldest residential street” in the United States called Elfreth’s Alley to traveling way up in the sky in a high rise capturing a first look in the Loews Hotel. It’ truly a unique experience that only Philadelphia weddings can provide and I’m so glad I get to be there to photograph them. Now I get to add one more item to my list of awesome weddings in Philadelphia and that’s being on a yacht! Jonathan and Jennifer decided to take their Philadelphia wedding to the water. We started our day on land at Hotel Manaco for their getting ready images and then cut loose through a historic tour of the area for some portraits. I knew it was going to be a good day when Jonathan and the groomsmen broke out gold glasses that had “rock the yacht” on the side of them. First up after the getting ready photos was the first look which took place at the 18th Century Garden. We then laughed our way over to the Second Bank of the United States and worked our way back through the Independence Hall area to jump on a Lyft to start the fun on the water! Jennifer + Jonathan had their entire wedding on the amazing Freedom Elite. The ceremony included a few Filipino customs that really gave their Philadelphia ceremony a beautiful personal touch. Right after that though is when the ship set sail and almost immediately the party happened. This day was filled with so many laughs, smiles and fantastic dancing. Here are a few of my favorites images from their wedding day! Make sure check out the end of the post to leave Jonathan and Jennifer a message and see the list of vendors who help make this stunning day possible.
