Winter Normandy Farm Wedding

Katie + Steve at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell, PA

The Couple: I was photographing a wedding almost three years ago and when I met Katie and Steve. Steve sister just tied the knot and I got to witness the fun chemistry Steve and Katie had with each other right there on the dance floor. When they asked me to photograph their  Normandy Farm Wedding I was 100% in, ready for the fun! Katie and Steve had to fly back here from warm Nevada but they embraced the snow and were ready for an amazing wedding day.

The Venue: They had their ceremony and reception at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell Pa. For the ceremony they transformed the grand ballroom in to an intimate ceremony location. The aisle was lined with candles and with the overhead chandeliers it really set a romantic tone to the ceremony. With these two, the fun didn’t stop at the ceremony. During the ceremony their knot tying tradition turned in to a tug-of-war! When it was time for reception the staff did their thing and turned the grand ballroom into a beautiful place to celebrate and party the night away.

The Day: Almost every single wedding had some sort of hiccup occur. There were a few small things that happened, like 5 inches of snow, but it never stopped the smiles and laughs. We adapted and overcame! We turned lemons in to lemonade… well, we turned snow in to snowballs. I got hit fair and square and after going through the photos I now know which groomsmen was the culprit! I see you sir…

Here are a few of my favorites from their Normandy Farm Wedding day! Make sure to leave the Katie and Steve a message below.
